The Student Guide Program offers an opportunity to work closely with Mount Holyoke College Art Museum staff, learn about the Art Museum’s collections, and give tours to campus, community and K-12 audiences. The program operates on an unpaid volunteer basis. Student guides meet with Art Museum staff for two and a half hours most Friday afternoons during the academic year, and are expected to give at least two tours per semester. Successful candidates need not be art history majors, but will be intellectually curious students with a diverse range of interests and backgrounds.
Two credits are available for the program through ARTH-295P in the spring semester.
For the application timeline and other details, please see the MHC Art Museum website.
