The Biochemistry Lynk: Classroom to Career
A launching pad for many rewarding careers
Biochemistry majors go on to work in a broad range of areas, including, but not limited to, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, patent law, science education, healthcare consulting, and investment banking. The Biochemistry Department offers a range of study abroad, internship, and other research opportunities to prepare students for future careers.
A Zin Oo '06: a rigorous curriculum, deeply engaged faculty and an extremely diverse student body pushed me beyond the many learning opportunities here.
Janet Buhlmann '89: at Pfizer, I work with academic partners helping to translate their discoveries at the bench into novel therapeutics.
