Biochemistry majors go on to work in a broad range of areas, including, but not limited to, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, patent law, science education, healthcare consulting, and investment banking. The Biochemistry Department offers a range of study abroad, internship, and other research opportunities to prepare students for future careers.

Emily Harcourt ’09: because of my student research experience working the chemistry lab, I work comfortably with different techniques across disciplines.
