Mount Holyoke’s data science initiatives are part of a larger trend by liberal arts colleges toward interdisciplinary connections to computer science.
Starting in fall 2016, the College will offer a program that will prepare students to develop and apply technical skills to real-world problems.
Building on an existing faculty initiative, Mount Holyoke is partnering with MassMutual to train women in the emerging field of data science.
