Graduate Fellowships

Virginia Galbraith Graduate Fellowship

Deadline: Late March

Funds from the estate of the late Professor Virginia Galbraith provide up to three annual awards to encourage graduate study in Economics. The recipient of the Virginia Galbraith Graduate Fellowship will receive up to $3,000 to help support study towards a graduate degree in Economics or in a field with a substantial component of Economics at any accredited university. Other things equal, doctoral candidates will receive preference over others. Merit rather than need will be the principal criterion for selection.

The application must include three copies of the application form from the candidate and two separate letters of recommendation

Robert Robertson Fellowship

Deadline: Late March

The Robert Robertson Fellowship for the Study of Health Care will provide financial support for a Mount Holyoke alumna pursuing graduate studies in either Economics, Public Health, or Public Policy programs.

The graduate program should have both an economic and health component. Other things equal, doctoral candidates will receive preference over others. Merit rather than need will be the principal criterion for selection.

The application must include the application form, a statement of interest, and two letters of recommendation.
