Born in Béziers, a town in the southwest of France, I grew up in Montpellier, the capital of the Languedoc-Roussillon region and a beautiful city. I am of Vietnamese origin and my favorite pastimes include picking up new languages, reading, listening to music, and baking. I also enjoy traveling and taking the time to discover new places and customs with my friends.
After I completed a baccalaureate specializing in mathematics, I spent two years in the "classes préparatoires" (a prep course aiming for the Grandes Ecoles of France) with a focus in English studies. Then, I attended the University of Reading (UK) thanks to the ERASMUS programme. At the end of these three years, I earned a BA in English and American literature and culture that allowed me to pursue my studies in the University Paul Valéry – Montpellier III, where I finished the first year of my masters degree. This year, I intend to complete my masters degree and enjoy the opportunity given to me by Mount Holyoke College to lead some French conversation labs (I hope we will learn a lot from each other!) and take courses seldom taught in my home country.
