The French Language Floor Living-Learning Community

One of the first Living-Learning Communities on campus to foster connections through language, the French Language Floor is home to students passionate about French, interested in forming bonds with other Francophones and dedicated to expanding and promoting their French language proficiency and cultural understanding of French-speaking nations.

Residents of the French Floor (located in Creighton Hall) range in background from beginners to native speakers and from first-year students to seniors returning from study abroad. French Floor residents commit to daily efforts to speak French and, in collaboration with their French-speaking Community Advisor (CA) and Language Assistant (LA), they are encouraged to plan and participate in a multitude of activities both in and outside their residence hall to promote community, cultural enrichment, and language practice.

Students interested in living on the French Floor are encouraged to contact the Office of Residential Life for details about the application procedure.
