Airborne Imaging Multispectral Sensor

A remote sensing platform consisting of a multispectral digital 3 CCD camera, a laser altimeter, a real-time differential global positioning system (DGPS), and an attitude heading and reference system (AHRS). The AIMS1 is a remote sensing platform consisting of a DuncanTech multispectral digital 3 CCD camera, a Laser Atlanta laser altimeter, a Trimble Ag130 real-time differential global positioning system (DGPS), and a Watson Industries attitude heading and reference system (AHRS). It was designed for high spatial and temporal resolution and is deployed in a single-engine aircraft, typically flying between 1000 - 2000 ft. above the ground.
