At the Gorse Children’s Center, we firmly believe that we can work most effectively with children when there is regular and open communication between families and teachers. Parents are encouraged to visit the school and to observe their child's program. Many of our parents enjoy watching their children from the observation booths that are available for the preschool and kindergarten rooms.
Early in the school year we have a parent night for each group. Individual parent-teacher conferences are scheduled twice a year. Teachers are always willing to meet with parents at their request. We value the daily informal communication at arrival and pick-up time and encourage parents to call and share their questions, concerns, and suggestions as they arise.
