Rehearsal Schedule

While regular rehearsals are usually held on Tuesday evenings from 7:15 – 9.30 pm, and on Thursday afternoons from 4.30 – 6:00 pm, for Fall 2020, our rehearsals will be 5:45 – 6:45 pm EST on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with an additional session on Saturdays to be determined in consultation with enrolled students to find a good time for students in time zones that find it difficult to join synchronous sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

In non-Covid times, musicians arrive fifteen minutes early to warm-up. Additional rehearsals are usually added immediately before an upcoming concert. Thursday Rehearsals on the week of performance is usually extended by 30 mins, and therefore go from 4:30 – 6.30 pm. Please check the full orchestra schedule for details regarding these additional sessions.

Acknowledging the difficulty of creating and juggling online versions of our regular activities, we will try to contain all rehearsals in the Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday times.

Rehearsals are open to interested family and friends, at the discretion of the conductor. Kindly inform him or her if you are bringing a guest to observe a rehearsal.
