Nexus: Curriculum to Career Program
Mount Holyoke’s Nexus enables students to meaningfully link their liberal arts education with their career goals. Nexus gives students a focused, intentional way to connect their academic work with valuable professional experience beyond the gates, through internships, research, and summer employment.
Approved Nexus Tracks
- Development Studies
- Educational Policy and Practice
- Global Business
- Journalism, Media, and Public Discourse
- Law, Public Policy and Human Rights
- Non-Profit Organizations
A Nexus consists of at least 16 academic credits, including three academic courses, a practical experience, a pre-experience course, a post-experience course and a presentation at the annual LEAP (Learning from Application) Symposium. Students may pursue a Nexus minor, or a standalone Nexus in addition to a minor.
