Nexus: Curriculum to Career
Connecting liberal arts to career exploration, in the Nexus Program students deepen their knowledge and expand their skills in academic courses, professional experiences, and through guided goal-setting and reflection.
Students choose one of nine professional tracks and work closely with faculty to create an individual program. Students take courses in existing departments that already contain pre-professional elements and explore professional opportunities in their area of interest.
The Nexus program also supports faculty course development and new initiatives and integrates the liberal arts education with student’s career goals. Faculty are invited to apply for a Nexus Curriculum Development grant for the academic year 2017-2018, due May 15th.
