Sonnie Terrell

Visiting Lecturer in Physical Education and Athletics

Sonnie Terrell is in her first year as interim head volleyball coach and guest lecturer in the physical education department.  The courses she teaches includes Fitness for Life, Weight Training, Beginning Tennis, Folk Dance, Fitness Walking, Beginning and Intermediate Volleyball.

Terrell received her B.A. in physical education in 2002 from Franklin College (Indiana), and her M.S. in Exercise and Sport Studies from Smith College in 2008. While at Smith, she served as the assistant volleyball coach and teaching fellow. Prior to her time at Smith, Terrell was an instructor in the physical education department and the assistant volleyball and softball coach at Hanover College (Indiana) from 2002-2006. Terrell also served as interim head softball coach at Hanover in 2005.
