The Politics Lynk: Classroom to Career
Beginning Your Career Now
Nothing is more important for your career than getting it started now. Some of our courses contain a community-based learning component and many require policy-related research and writing. We encourage all majors to pursue different types of internships and jobs throughout their time at Mount Holyoke so that by the time they graduate they have found their passion and are already doing what they want to do.
Rita C. Economos ’01: At Mount Holyoke I learned grit and courage — I don’t think I could have learned them so well, and with such joy, anywhere else.
Mengyuan Tang '16: I will continue to pursue my passion in law school to fight against corruption, especially in international law.
Aurora West Seamon ’17: My critical social thought major equipped me to teach a diverse group of learners and field questions about American culture.
