Interests:

My role in the Psychology and Education Department is to serve as a course manager for the Introduction to Psychology course, mentor the graduate student lab instructor for the Psychology Statistics course, and support student and faculty research. I provide both qualitative and quantitative research consulting to the department. In addition, I host training sessions throughout the academic year on how to use various qualitative and quantitative data analysis software, such as NVivo and SPSS.

My research interests include studying the financial and academic obstacles faced by low-income students and students of color who wish to pursue a higher education. I am also interested in learning more about how students approach learning math and the strategies that teachers can use to help enhance minority participation in this field. In addition to working at Mount Holyoke College, I am also a doctoral student within the educational leadership and supervision program at American International College.
