Experience a Classroom During January Intercession
Educ 320, Observing and Assisting in Inclusive Classrooms, provides students a firsthand glimpse into the American educational system and offers them the unique opportunity to work with children in a school site or other educational setting where daily supervised interaction is available. The course involves a three-week field placement in an approved educational setting anywhere in the country. Although this course is required for students seeking Teacher Licensure, any student with an interest in education may enroll.
Students considering this course should be aware that there are two mandatory meetings at the college in the fall before the course begins and two mandatory meetings in the spring after the course ends. Students who do not attend all four course meetings will not receive credit for the course.
