Preparing students for advanced study and professional work in theater and performance.
Bringing together artists, scholars and practitioners in a flexible curriculum, the study of theater arts provides a strong liberal arts foundation and trains students to think critically and globally and to collaborate with others in a diverse environment. Creativity and leadership skills are fostered through intensive study and practice as students take on key roles in acting, directing, design, technical theater and stage management. Through these experiences, students cultivate and engage an audience as writers, performers, designers and directors.
