"Intimate Apparel" — November 2016
Directed by visiting Hampshire College Professor of Humanities and Arts Natalie Sowell, the play profoundly explores race, class, and gender through the life of a New York City seamstress at the turn of the century. The production includes set design by the department’s technical director, Shawn Hill, costume design by Phuong Nguyen ’17, and lighting and sound design by Lara Dubin.

"Wit", a play
In her 1991 play, "Wit", Margaret Edson examines the internal life of an English professor suffering a terminal illness. As the professor nears the end of her life, she starts to ask hard questions about what she did wrong and also what comes next.
