Academic Administrative Board

Students seeking exception to the academic policies or regulations of the College may submit an online petition to the Academic Administrative Board. The Board meets bi-weekly during the semester. The Board comprises of the Dean of Studies, the Registrar, each Class Advisor, and three faculty members.

Students who wish to petition the Board must first consult with the Class Advisor for their class year. Class Advisors Leah Glasser (2014), Kim Parent (2015 & 2016), and Luigi Solla (2017) may be reached by calling the Academic Deans Office at 413-538-2855.  If you have questions about the petitioning process, please contact Katie Walker, Senior Administrative Assistant. 

Once you have consulted your class advisor, you may submit your petition electronically via this online form. Petitions must be received one week prior to the posted meeting date, by noon. Petitions received after this deadline will be added to the following meeting's agenda. Students will receive a confirmation and further instructions once the petition has been submitted. The Board’s decision will be sent via email within 48 hours of the meeting.
