Alcohol and Drug Awareness Committee (ADAC)

In 1977, Mount Holyoke College became one of the first colleges to implement an Alcohol and Drug Awareness Project (ADAP) which provided alcohol and other drug education, intervention, and counseling to the campus community.  Today, Mount Holyoke College continues to be at the forefront of comprehensive college alcohol and other drug programs, with an emphasis on women’s issues.  One way the college continues to excel in this arena is through the efforts of the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Committee, which is a working group that assists ADAP in assessing and seeking solutions related to the community’s involvement with alcohol and other drug issues.
