Alice Dunaway

Harriet Newhall Fellow

Alice Dunaway, class of 2015, majors in Politics and has a Nexus minor in Journalism. On campus, along with working for the Office of Admission as a Harriet Newhall Fellow, Alice works for the MHC Department of Psychology and Education.  Alice spends her free time running and going to concerts in the area.  Recently, she saw Ra Ra Riot in Northampton and Bastille in New York City.  Alice mentioned, “the thing I love about Mount Holyoke is it really is an atmosphere of women empowering other women. Everyone is driven to succeed and we help each other along the way. Also the amazing traditions, like Mountain Day and M&Cs are absolutely fantastic.”  Off campus, Alice has interned for two political campaigns and for the US Department of State.  She also designed her own study abroad program in Dublin, Ireland, where she spent one semester.  After graduating, Alice plans to find a job with the US government.
