Korean CSAT Applicants
Mount Holyoke partners with Uway and InitialView to provide an opportunity for students who have taken the College Scholastic Ability Test (known as the CSAT or Suneung) in South Korea to apply for admission using their CSAT scores and an InitialView interview.
The Process
Admission to Mount Holyoke as a Korean CSAT applicant requires two steps.
- Follow the instructions through the InitialView website.
- Provide your CSAT score via Uway.
- Participate in an online interview with InitialView.
- If the CSAT scores and InitialView submissions meet our eligibility standards, you will be asked to:
- Apply for financial aid (if your family is not able to pay the total cost of attendance for four years plus the annual cost of health insurance, roughly USD2500)*
OR
Submit the International Financial Declaration (if your family is able to pay the total cost of attendance for four years) - Submit your high school transcript
- Apply for financial aid (if your family is not able to pay the total cost of attendance for four years plus the annual cost of health insurance, roughly USD2500)*
*We commit to providing a financial aid package that meets our calculation of a student’s financial need. Therefore, your need for financial aid may influence your final admission decision.
These documents will be due within 10 days of hearing from the Admission Office. Your Mount Holyoke admission officer (contact information below) will work with you on how to submit the additional documents and the timeline for receiving your final decision.
If you are admitted and decide to accept your offer of admission to Mount Holyoke, you must notify us by May 1. You may be asked to provide more biographical information about yourself to complete our records prior to enrollment.
Timeline
Mount Holyoke will consider CSAT applicants through the end of April and into May if space is still available. Students applying near or after the May 1 commitment deadline will work individually with their admission officer on an adjusted timeline.
