Haley Murray Robinson, class of 2017, is a Spanish major and Nexus Global Business and Theatre Arts double minor. She spent last year studying abroad in Seville, Spain at the Center for Cross-Cultural Study. On campus, Haley is Social Chair of the 2017 Class Board, an organization that encourages class cohesion and community engagement. She also serves as the Events and Mobilization Strategist for Tiwale, a community-based, youth-led, non-profit organization, founded and directed by Ellen Chilemba '17, that empowers Malawian women through sustainable business ventures. Additionally, Haley participates in the Community-Based Learning program as the Development and Events Intern for Gardening the Community, a Springfield-based food justice organization that promotes youth development, urban farming, and sustainable living to create health and equitable communities. Haley is also an active member of the Theatre Arts department and will be taking on the role of Jason Posner, M.D. in their upcoming production of Wit. When she's not in the classroom or involved in any given cocurricular activity, you'll likely find Haley enjoying a meal at Prospect Hall or indulging in a warm cup of coffee at Thirsty Mind.
