Harriet Newhall Fellow
Audrey is pictured displaying her class colors and pride at Convocation
Audrey Maney, class of 2014, double majors in French and English. In addition to interacting with prospective students as a Harriet Newhall Fellow, she is President of the French Club, volunteers at Gorse Children’s Center, and has participated in various Project: Theater productions. Audrey spent her junior year abroad in Montpellier, France, balancing her studies with an internship at an online survey software company there. Last summer, she interned as an English tour guide at Chateau de Chantilly, a historic site and art museum in Chantilly, France. Audrey’s post-graduation plans include moving back to France to be an English Teaching Assistant for a year before getting a master’s degree in English in either the UK or Ireland. For the moment, however, Audrey says that Mount Holyoke is “truly her home,” and she especially loves the “tradition of class colors and mascots, especially when everyone dresses up for convocation to show their class pride.” In her free time, you might find Audrey singing, writing poetry, or hanging out with friends in nearby Northampton or Amherst.
