Ifeoluwa Olokode, Class of 2013 is a Biological Sciences major and an Architectural Studies minor who is currently working on a thesis about the role of Regenerative Islet-derived 1 (Reg1) protein in the MAIDS model. Ifeoluwa currently serves on the executive board of the Mount Holyoke African and Caribbean Student’s Association (MHACASA) and as a CultureTalk Fellow at the Five College Center for the Study of World Languages, and has also been a Community Advisor with Residential Life and a Student Technologist at the Mount Holyoke Library. Last year Ifeoluwa studied abroad at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, where she learned about Australian history, its marine environment, and how culture and environment influence architectural design using Aboriginal cultures as case studies.
