Meaghan Collins, Class of 2013 is a Geography major and History minor who appreciates her experiences with Mount Holyoke faculty, saying that “they are so inspiring and the small class sizes have enabled me to establish close mentorships with my professors.” During her time at MHC Meaghan has been actively working towards her goal of entering the field of urban environmental planning.  In 2011she worked at the Therapeutic Landscapes Network in Upstate New York and interned at a refugee farm collective in Springfield, MA, and then studied abroad last year at the University College London (UCL) Bartlett School of Planning. She has been a News Editor and an Op-Ed contributor for the Mount Holyoke News and volunteers with local community gardens. Meaghan also loves to hear live music and travel to Northampton or Amherst for her “frequent Thai food cravings.”
