Pema Rapten, class of 2014, double majors in Economics and International Relations. Last summer, Pema was a program intern at the Asia Foundation’s office in Kathmandu, Nepal. On campus, she has been involved with the Student Government Association, planned Himalayan Night with the Nepali Student Organization, and served three semesters as a Community Advisor in her dorm. Recently, Pema studied abroad at The University of St. Andrews in Scotland, UK, marking the fourth country in which Pema has pursued her education – with India, Nepal, and the U.S. completing the list. In her free time, she likes drinking vanilla lattes, spending time with friends, or simply enjoying the beauty of the seasons at Mount Holyoke.
