Samantha Miorin, class of 2014, has taken full advantage of Mount Holyoke’s liberal arts curriculum, pairing her self-designed Forensic Biology major with a Theatre Arts minor. Samantha serves as co-chair for Project: Theatre, Mount Holyoke’s student-run theatre group that aims to empower student creativity and collaboration and encourage widespread participation in the theater arts. Recently, Samantha performed as Chris in the group’s production of Neil Simon’s Rumors. She is also an active member of the Mount Holyoke Pre-Medical Association. After visiting Dartmouth’s Medical School and Hospital with her pre-med club, she was thrilled to find that “the medical school’s labs look just like Mount Holyoke’s science labs in Carr!” Samantha has held several internships in the medical field, and has spent the past seven summers as a camp counselor at her high school. She is currently studying for the GRE and applying to Biomedical Forensic Sciences programs.
