Sylvie Creekmore, Class of 2013 is an English major and Philosophy minor who is currently writing a thesis on the creative exploration of memory and experience in short stories and memoirs. Last year Sylvie studied abroad at The University of York, England, and this year is serving as the Co-President of the Philosophy Society, is on the staff of the MHC literary journal Verbosity, and an active member of the knitting club Knit Happens.  After MHC Sylvie hopes to attend the Columbia University School of Journalism, and eventually enter the publishing industry to work in Young Adult Literature.  When asked to name one thing she loves about MHC, Sylvie mentions “the culture of discussion and dialogue that always manages to lead out of the classroom and seep into regular campus life.”
