Saadia El Karfi

Student Tour Guide

Saadia El Karfi, class of 2017, is an international student from Morocco. Saadia is majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior and minoring in either Computer Science or French.  She hasn’t made up her mind quite yet. Outside the classroom, Saadia is involved in Model United Nations. She served as a Model UN board member and was an events coordinator for the Five College Model United Nations on campus in the spring of 2014. Saadia has had the opportunity to get laboratory and research experience with Professor Tanner in his Neuroscience Lab during the spring of 2014. She also works with the French Department as a French tutor during the academic year. As for free time, she enjoys being outdoors, running and hiking as well as traveling. Saadia's favorite tradition about MHC is convocation and watching Dirty Dancing under the stars during orientation, because "Baby is going to Mount Holyoke in the fall". After graduation, Saadia sees herself continuing her education in graduate school or delving in research about the amazing machine that is the brain.
