Diversity Outreach Fellow
Tysha Vulcain-Murrell, class of 2017, is a Psychology major and a Sociology minor with a passion for both creative writing and volunteer work. A member of Mount Holyoke's Association for Pan-African Unity and a Mount Holyoke cheerleader, Tysha has complemented her academic endeavors with a global marketing internship with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Tysha's favorite place on campus, Upper Lake, is special to her because "It's the perfect place to read a book, to go for a walk to clear your head, or to have some fun canoeing with friends." When reflecting on her Mount Holyoke experience, Tysha says: "I love Mount Holyoke because it not only pushes you academically and socially, but you are supported along the way. Between both students and faculty you will never feel alone no matter how hard the challenges you might face during your college experience. Mount Holyoke College has become my home, and the people here are my family."
