Tysha Vulcain-Murrell, class of 2017, is a Psychology major and Africana Studies minor. Tysha has many hobbies and interests including volunteering at local middle schools, being on the board for the Association of Pan-African Unity and being a student liaison for the Psychology department. Tysha has complemented her academic endeavors with an internship with Teach For America doing on-campus recruitment. Her favorite place on campus is Blanchard Campus Center where she can study, grab a bite to eat and always bump into a familiar face. Tysha says- "I love Mount Holyoke because it not only pushes you academically and socially but you are supported along the way. Between both students and faculty you will never feel alone, no matter how hard the challenges you might endure. Mount Holyoke College has become my home and the people here are my family.”
