Interviews are one of the best ways for us to learn more about your academic goals and personal experiences. For prospective first-year students, we suggest scheduling an interview during your junior year or the summer/fall of your senior year. Mount Holyoke offers several options for the interview experience.
First-year and transfer applicants may register for a campus interview with a trained senior fellow, on-campus or via Skype. Interviews can generally be scheduled Monday-Friday and some Saturdays year-round.
International* student Skype interviews register here.
*For both non-US citizens and for students studying outside the US.
If you are unable to interview on-campus or via Skype, you may also request an interview with an alumna in your region (NOTE: alumnae interviews are not offered in China) or you can interview with an admission counselor traveling in your area. Be sure to check back frequently, as our counselors add interviews slots throughout their travel season.
Frances Perkins Scholars:
On-campus or Skype interviews are required for all applicants to the Frances Perkins Program. Interviews will be conducted by one of the program's directors and must be scheduled at least two weeks prior to the application deadline. To schedule an interview, either on-campus or via Skype, please complete the Frances Perkins Interview Request Form. A staff member from our office will be in touch with you within 3-5 days to confirm the appointment.
