Museums are extraordinary places that provide an incredible range of learning experiences for people of all ages – learning that is simultaneously intimate, collective, and empowering. Museums help make accessible the range and depth of the human imagination.
The Mount Holyoke College Art Museum serves as a principal cultural resource for the general public and the academic communities of the Five College area (Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke, and Smith Colleges and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst). All public events, including gallery talks and lectures, are free and open to the public. For information about specific events, see the Event Calendar.
