Student Telephone Services
The Mount Holyoke College Telephone System is designed for you and your family and friends to stay in touch, and for you to save money. In every student room, each roommate can apply for her own unique telephone number. Each student will need to bring her own touch-tone telephone in order to access the College's Telephone System. Cordless phones are not recommended. The basic service is free of charge which includes local and toll free calling.
To print out the application form for telephone service in residence hall rooms, if you are on campus, follow the link. You will need to supply us with the jack number you would like activated, which is listed on the jack. Bring the completed form to our office so that we can activate your service.
Once you have applied for telephone service and your specific phone jack has been activated, Auxiliary Services will email you with your extension. Calls within campus require only the four-digit extension number.
