Tutors Make a Difference in the Community
Tutors provide support to many after-school programs by creating student-to-tutor connections and mentorship. Their job as tutors is to provide academic support, serve as a positive role model and reinforce a positive view of college for these youth. They work concretely to help these students with their understanding of class material. The greater hope is that our participation will not only bolster the program’s impact, but that our continuous presence will inspire these youth to envision new possibilities for their futures.
