CDC Awards

The following CDC Fellowships are financial awards for the support of self-identified and self-developed internship and research opportunities, provided by generous alumnae, their families, and other friends of the College.  To apply for these funds, use the Universal Application.

Jane Allen-Birge Memorial Award
To benefit student summer internships. This fund supports a variety of career interests and majors.

Mildred Altman Award
In support of MHC intern experiences. Preference given to students who are not receiving financial aid grants.

Katherine Adler Astrove Award
To support the MHC summer internship program in assisting our students to find their way towards the establishment of their own careers. This benefit should go to students who are U.S. Citizens and are pursuing an internship in the United States. Additionally they should be earnest, sincere, and responsible in their career planning.

Nancy V. Brownell Award
To provide internship stipends to students and to supplement the stipends students receive from their internship providers.

Miriam C. Camps Award
For student summer internships, located internationally or in Washington, D.C.

Class of 1949 Memorial Internship Fund
To support internship opportunities for MHC students 

Frances (Class of 1944) and Robert Connick Internship Fund
To support internship opportunities for students at MHC, with first preference going to a student who demonstrates great potential and is seeking an internship in chemistry or science.

Environmental Studies Internship Fund
To support environmental studies internships.

Elizabeth and William Lauder Journalism Award
To support internship opportunities in journalism, with preference given to print journalism.

Ruth Lawson International Internship Scholarship Fund
To offer financial aid each year to one or more students working in developing countries.

Elaine N. Marieb Science Award
To support undergraduate research projects in the sciences, with preference given to Biological Science.

Mount Holyoke Lyon's Pride Award
To fund an otherwise unpaid internship or other educational opportunity for students seeking a position with lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender organizations.

Paul F. McGuire Bequest Fund Award
To support domestic or international student internships.

Moffat Internship Award
To support internship opportunities for students from Hawaii.

Grace L. Perry Internship Fund
To support domestic or international internships with a focus on a government, politics, foreign policy or international development.

T.W. Reese Fund
To support undergraduate independent work in any department. 

Victoria Schuck Award
In support of future MHC interns in Washington who need assistance and for necessary administrative expenses.

Alice Bliss Studebaker ‘59 Internship Fund
To support internship opportunities for students at MHC, with preference for American citizens or green card holders.  

Truman Family Fund
To support internships in Washington, D.C.

Marcy Wilkov Waterman Award
In support of MHC intern experiences. This fund supports a variety of career interests and majors.

Ruth Whittemore, M.D. Award
Internship support for students pursuing health sciences or medicine.

Margaret Andrews Winters Award
For a research opportunity in biochemistry or other sciences.
