Resume, Cover Letter, and CV

CDC professional advisors and Peer Career Advisors (PCAs) are here to offer advice on how to construct your resume or CV and an effective cover letter.

Get started in 3 simple steps:

  1. Attend a resume/cover letter workshop
  2. Meet with a PCA during drop-in hours to have your resume critiqued – at least two times - and then schedule an appointment with a career counselor for a final look
  3. Submit your resume on Handshake

Remember: In order to apply for positions through Handshake, your resume must satisfy the criteria outlined in the resume checklist and is subject to review within the Handshake system. In addition, you will have to submit a resume and cover letter to apply for any positions on JobX.
