Scarving Ceremony and Social
An opportunity to support and mingle with graduates from the graduate programs as they receive their traditional MHC scarves. Open to all graduates and alumnae/i.

Saturday, May 19

7 – 8 am
Tour of the Trees on Campus
One of the most alluring aspects of campus are the trees that envelop the campus in an ever-changing mantle. Join Botanic Garden Director and Curator Tom Clark for a walking tour, during which he will share engaging stories and reveal the diversity of trees that comprise this arboreal asset. We will end the tour at the Community Center.

Botanic Garden Plant Sale 

Plants from the gardens and greenhouse are available with proceeds to benefit the Botanic Garden.

Alumnae/i Parade 
While the Springfield Kiltie Band plays, loyalty class members in antique cars will lead the parade, followed by alumnae classes, alumnae relatives, certificate and graduate students, and seniors carrying the laurel chain. Please begin lining up no later than 8:15 am and don’t forget your white clothes! Rain or shine.

Join us for video presentations prepared by the graduate programs graduating class, alums, and more. Feel free to drop in and out throughout the afternoon, mingle with the graduate faculty, alumnae/i and current graduates.

Art Museum Open House
Visit the museum to see current special exhibitions and the diverse permanent collection. Enjoy refreshments and conversation with museum staff.

Tour will begin from the atrium of the library and will finish within the hour.

Tickets required for amphitheater (or, in case of dangerous weather, Kendall Field House) seating. Closed-circuit telecast to Hooker Auditorium.
