The Baccalaureate ceremony is a celebration that honors members of the graduating class. Speakers will include the President, the Dean of the College, two seniors, and two faculty member selected by the graduating class. This traditional ceremony is geared to our seniors and holds deep meaning for them. They are given a final charge and hear their selected faculty deliver a final lecture. It has historically been held in Abbey Chapel, which can accommodate all of the seniors, but has limited additional seating. We do our best to admit as many ticketed guests as possible, but there may be cases where the crowd exceeds the chapel capacity.
Each senior will receive 2 guest tickets for the Baccalaureate ceremony held on Saturday, May 17 at 9:00pm in Abbey Chapel. Only guests with tickets will be admitted; it is open seating so please arrive early. For family members/friends without tickets, the ceremony will be telecast in Hooker Auditorium where no tickets are needed.
Each senior will receive 4 guest tickets for the Commencement ceremony held on Sunday, May 18 at 10:30am in the outdoor Amphitheater. Only guests with tickets will be admitted; seating is assigned. For family members/guests without tickets, the ceremony will be telecast in three locations (Blanchard Campus Center, Hooker Auditorium, and Dwight 101). The Campus Center is air-conditioned for those who may not tolerate the warmer weather or rain. There is also a big screen broadcast just outside the Amphitheater for those without tickets who wish to remain nearby.
For those families who need to request handicapped or specially arranged seating, please see the Special Seating/Request form.
Location: Blanchard vendor table
These are the only times for ticket distribution. You will need your Mount Holyoke picture ID to pick up your tickets. Seniors are only allowed to pick up their own tickets.
