Charles L. Johnson AB, MBA, ChFC, CLU ![]() Chuck Johnson is a Five College Visiting Lecturer in Economics hosted by Mount Holyoke College. He also teaches the Financial Accounting Course (ACC 223a & 223b) at Smith. He has a B.A. from Columbia College and a MBA from Columbia University. His background includes a tour with Naval Intelligence, several finance positions with Corning, Inc. and a 28-year career at Smith College as Controller, Associate Treasurer and Acting Treasurer. He has been a director of several insurance companies and investment funds and is a director of a large regional bank. He also holds professional designations as a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). ![]() |
