This course provides an introduction to the skills necessary for becoming good producers and consumers of experimental psychological research. Students learn to develop research questions survey related research, design rigorous and ethically sound experiments, and collect, analyze, and interpret data. Students are introduced to computer use in psychology and learn to read and critique original empirical journal articles. The course culminates in an original, collaborative research project and poster presentation.(Writing-enriched course).
