Practice Exam I Instructions

This is the practice version of Exam I, which will be a self-timed, take-home exam. The time limit is 60 minutes. The clock starts when you open the test. Sixty minutes after you first look at the test questions, you must stop working, seal the exam closed, and hand it in as soon as is practicable.

You may use an ordinary graphing calculator on this exam. No books or notes are permitted, including notes stored in a calculator memory.

Give all answers in exact form (in terms of square roots, pi, trig functions, or whatever) unless you are explicitly asked to provide a decimal approximation.

Two versions of the Practice Exam are provided: one with full solutions and the other with only the questions. You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to download either one.
