Announcements:

  • December 12, 2003: I've written up complete solutions to the last homework assignment and pinned a copy to the board outside my office.

  • November 17, 2003: Here is a link to Matthias Kawski's Vector Field Analyzer, a nifty Java-based program for animating vector field flows.

  • November 15, 2003: You can buy koosh balls on line from Toys2Wish4.com.

  • November 12, 2003 (8 am): I fixed the error on the solution to problem 2 on Practice Exam II. Let me know if you find any other mistakes.

  • November 10, 2003: There's a practice version of Hour Exam II on the Resources page.

  • October 6, 2003: There's a practice version of Hour Exam I on the Resources page.

  • September 13, 2003: The solution to Quiz 1 is available from the Resources page.

  • September 8, 2003: Walk-in Calculus Help Sessions will begin this evening. The sessions are held in 401 and 402 Clapp from 7 - 10 on Sunday through Thursday evenings. The two TA's for Math 203 are Zhen Jin (Monday evenings) and Manjari Goenka (Wednesday evenings).

  • September 2, 2003: The textbook for the course is
    Multivariable Calculus by James Stewart, fifth edition, Wadsworth, 2002.

    There are plenty of copies at the Odyssey.

    Unfortunately, there have been numerous and significant changes from the earlier editions of this book, so you'll need to get the new edition. Sorry about that.
