Barr, Prentice-Hall, 2002, and The Code Book by Simon Singh, Anchor Books, 2000. If you try to buy the books on-line, be aware that Amazon.com has the Barr book listed with an incorrect title, so you have to search for "Introduction to Cryptography", or else just use the ISBN, which is 0130889768.
