MATH 202(01)
  SPRING 2004

Announcements:

  • May 6, 2004: Office hours scheduled for 10:00 - 11:30 today are cancelled. Sorry about that.

The last homework assignments have started to come back from the graders. Pick them up from the pocket outside my office. As of this morning, just the first third of the alphabet (up to Eisenbach) is graded.

  • May 4, 2004: We'll have a review session on Thursday morning at 9:00 in our usual classroom, 407 Clapp.

  • May 3, 2004: See the "Instructor" link for Reading Week office hours.

  • April 17, 2004: You'll find Practice Exam III and its solutions on the Resources page.

  • March 22, 2004: You'll find Practice Exam II and its solutions on the Resources page. The actual exam will be distributed in class on Wednesday and will be due by 4:00 on Thursday afternoon.

  • March 10, 2004: Because of a department meeting this afternoon, my office hours will be delayed. Office hours today will be 4:30 - 6:00. Homework will be due today at 6:00, instead of the usual 4:30.

  • February 13, 2004: Practice Exam #1 is available from the Resource page. There are some more solids-of-revolution problems in Practice Exam #3 and Hour Exam #3 from the Fall 2002 incarnation of this course.

  • January 26, 2004:
The textbook for the course is James Stewart, Single Variable Calculus: Early Transcendentals fifth edition, 2003. There are plenty of copies at the Odyssey, both new and used. Since this book was used in most of the Calc I sections last semester, you might be able to get a used copy from another student.
