Finding Science Internships

Professional Scientific Organizations

These organizations offer student members access to established professionals in science and engineering, tips on résumés, and chances to attend professional conferences. Travel awards from these organizations are often given to students for attending annual national and local conferences. The student memberships are very low in cost and often include subscriptions to useful scientific journals listing job and internship opportunities. This is the beginning of a life time process of networking.
