I agree to Andrea's opinion that it is hard to define a sort of
an economic system. China has gone through a long process to challenge
their governmental stem since the 1949 revolution under Mao. Their
recent alteration of decentralizing the market system shows their
idolized Stalinist startegy is not completely perfect. The Chinese
bureaucrats are still struggling to identify themselves in between
communists and capitalists among the changing world's tendency to
prefer capitalist money. As a matter of fact, the Chinese citizens are
already aware of the good points of free market system(under decentralized,
capitalized strategy), that they do not, and will not want to go
back to the old communism(feudalism) society. However, the Chinse are
still obsessed the fascination of an ideal communistic society and
Mao's "the real revolution." We have to watch how much longer will
it to take for the Chinese to convert their deep-rooted faith in the future.
