The Third World country that receives the most foreign direct investment is China.
: Our discussion on tuesday reminded me of an article i'd read last week in Britain's "Economist," suggesting how capitalism and democracy go hand in hand in certain third world economic situations. Th basic gist is that capitalists won't make the inital investment without the security of democratic government because democracy tends to be less corrupt. What do y'all think?
