Marxism as Neo-Classicalism

Posted by Megan on October 3, 2001 at 20:34:50:

It seems to me that in the perfect utopian world, which we know doesn't exist, that the neo-classists theorized in, both the neo-classical and marxian views are the the same. Neo-classists believed that the people would receive as wage the exact amount of money that was due for their quality of work and the time they put into it, so exploitation would not occur. They also believe that people who put up capital, would only receive back what they invested. I guess the only real difference is that Marxists realize that this utopia does not exist because these two theories are getting more and more alike.
