From the last class it seemed as though neo-classical theory does not address the system of slavery. They asume that the government was involved to much, and that is why slavery continued to exist. how do they see that the government is to blame? and not the slave owners themslves. The neo-classical theory seems to work for the privliged and rich and not the poor. Why would a poor person belive in the neo-classical theory?
Has anyone met a neo-classical poor or underprivilliged person?
