Don't people also sell lists of names? My mom gets lots of calls from telemarketers. She says that everyone from credit card companies to telephone companies will sell their customer lists.

: I think that's kind of scary.... i know it happens, but it's just a little strange to think that people can just call up a bank and find out so much information. People can find a lot of information from the internet too, although i think at J.T. Marlin, they probably did the buisness card thing. It makes the most sense....
: : They might have also had a group of people that called banks to see how much money a person had in there account. All a person has to do is know a name for the bank to look up and the bank is allowed to respond to yes/no questions if they are asked in the proper way.
