Question on Imperialism

Posted by Jenn Gangne on November 19, 2000 at 13:29:55:

According to the standars set forth by the World Systems School, the relationship that companies based in the United States have with other developing countries can be viewed as imperialist in nature due to the level at which U.S. companies can go in to these countries and exploit the workers/producers. Is imperialism an example of another class process? If so, it is the companies from countries such as the United States that are acting as imperialist powers, correct?
